So, Google has now opened their mapping to the world, and now you can see places around the globe in satellite mode! It’s incredible. So now, you can see where I lived in Tokyo, lived in Tennessee, lived in San Francisco, and where I worked in Oakland (it’s the tallest building in the center there). Now I’m thinking of possibly implementing a way for a link up from my webpage of my travels to show the places through the satelite–intriguing, no?
It can be done! Some guy in Florida interfaced with Google Maps and mapped out the addresses of all the register sex offenders. Weird, but true.
